The scholarship can be used to pursue one or more degrees ranging from the associate level through the bachelor\u2019s level to the graduate level. The average scholarship amount is up to $5,000\/year for Associates and Bachelor\u2019s degrees and up to $9,000\/year for Master\u2019s degrees. Students choosing to pursue the next higher-level degree (Associate \u2192 Bachelor\u2019s \u2192 Master&#8217;s) will be eligible for the continuation of the scholarship.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/miamioh.qualtrics.com\/jfe\/form\/SV_5tAMjErebYEgcYK\">Apply Now<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-pullquote\"><blockquote><p>&#8220;I don\u2019t know how I would have paid for a master\u2019s degree without this scholarship. This allowed me to finish my education right out of high school.&#8221;<\/p><cite>Zachary Matthews<br>Master of Science in Computer Science<\/cite><\/blockquote><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-miamired-color has-text-color\"><strong>Who Can Apply?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Entering freshman student seeking Associate Degrees in Computer Information Technology (CIT) and Mechanical Engineering Technology (MET).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Current Miami University or Community College students enrolled in associate degree programs in CIT or MET seeking Bachelor\u2019s Degrees in one of the following areas: Information Technology (IT) or Computer Science (CS)\/Software Engineering (SE) or MET or Mechanical Engineering (ME).\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Current students (Junior or seniors eligible for the combined program) enrolled in Bachelor\u2019s degree programs in IT, CS, SE, MET or ME who are interested in pursuing Graduate Degrees in Computer Science (MS-CS) and Mechanical Engineering (MS-ME)<sup>1<\/sup>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><sup>1. <\/sup>Scholarships for this option start in the Fall semester, and application evaluation happens on a rolling basis. A student must have an undergraduate cumulative grade point average of at least 3.00 to be admitted to the graduate programs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Scholarship recipients are expected to participate in activities designed to support academic and professional interests (refer to next section for more detail).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Scholarships will be renewed annually for students, (i) with good academic standing (2.75 GPA or above for associate and bachelors levels and a minimum GPA of 3.0 for masters level), and, (ii) those participating in the program activities which are highlighted in the next section.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-miamired-color has-text-color\"><strong>S-STEM Student Support Services and Programs<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All scholarship recipients will receive mentoring, be involved in the creation of an individualized development plan, and be introduced to additional support services
