Artist Statement: It’s crazy how everyone basically has this bubble. Some are bigger than others. Most touch and overlap and it can be difficult to distinguish between them. Where they begin, and where they’ve come from is a mystery. Yet upon closer inspection you can see how different each dot is from another -no two are exactly alike. |I envision bubbles growing and shrinking and if one pops they just rearrange and get on existing. It’s essential to being a part of this world. With acrylic on canvas I attempted to create an expansive abstracted space playing with color, texture, and size.
