Artist Statement: The mirror is an embodiment of Emerson’s quote, figuratively if the viewer’s eye was a mirror as well it’d go on infinitely, the same as a circle. I chose to use a collage technique to represent all the experiences we view through our own eyes and to piece them together to form one scene. The mirror represents what’s to come (priori) while the photos represent what has happened (posteriori).
