Nordson BUILDS Scholarship Program (Open January 15, Deadline May 15)<\/p>\n

The mission of Nordson BUILDS\u00a0is to attract and develop a diverse, highly-skilled talent pool for careers in the manufacturing industry. \u00a0It is designed to help bright and motivated students access and complete postsecondary education by lessening the financial barriers of enrolling in college for many, and decreasing the loan burden for individuals that apply for financial aid. \u00a0Students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to be eligible to receive a Nordson BUILDS Scholarship.<\/p>\n

Nordson Corporation provides three categories of\u00a0scholarships: Career & Technical, University Scholars, and Creating Equity in Industry. These manufacturing industry\u00a0scholarships are targeted at individuals whose permanent residence or college is near a Nordson facility, and are pursuing\u00a0majors in manufacturing, engineering-related STEM disciplines, or business leading to a career in industry and corporate America. Scholarships ranging from $2,000 to $10,000 will be awarded to students planning to enroll or already enrolled in an accredited public or private not-for-profit postsecondary institution.<\/p>\n

Eligibility Requirements: Must be an undergraduate interested in aerospace who is either cisgender woman, a transgender woman, non-binary, agender, bigender, two-spirit, demigender, genderfluid, genderqueer, or another form of gender minority who is available for full time employment during the summertime.<\/p>\n

Matthew Isakowitz Fellowship<\/p>\n

The Matthew Isakowitz Fellowship Program connects exceptional current college juniors, seniors, and graduate students with paid, summer internships in the exciting field of commercial spaceflight, as well as with notable aerospace leaders for mentorship. The summer culminates in a memorable networking summit.<\/p>\n

Upon completing the summer internship, the Fellows remain among a group of alumni who have the opportunity to continue to network with this program, their Fellow peers, assigned mentors, and future Fellows, on the path to becoming future space icons.<\/p>\n
