Silas, the Uninvited \u2014 Daryl Harris<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Daryl Harris <\/strong>is a Full Professor in the Theatre and Dance Program. At NKU since 2003, he is a 50+-year veteran of traditional, experimental, educational, and applied theatre. He has studied and worked throughout North America, Europe, West Africa, Asia and Australia. In addition to teaching diverse interdisciplinary theatre courses that routinely include Mayerson Student Philanthropy Project classes, Harris also acts in, directs and costume-designs theatrical productions at NKU, locally, nationally and internationally. He is a member of Phi Beta Delta Honor Society for International Scholars, and a 2010 recipient of President Obama\u2019s President\u2019s Call to Service Award –the highest level of awards recognizing and honoring volunteerism. As a Fulbright Specialist, he co-wrote, costumed, directed, and played a cameo role on Sri Lanka International Buddhist Academy\u2019s world premiere production of the traditional Buddhist tale, Sanda Kinduru<\/em>. This was the third in a series of initiatives using theatre techniques to help English as a Second Language students learn and confidently use the language. He served as a faculty member on the Spring 2019 voyage of the prestigious Semester at Sea program. The research for his MFA in theatre and his PhD in interdisciplinary studies continues to fuel his primary passion: engaging students, scholars, and communities transculturally, and transnationally across disciplines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Baby Camp \u2014 Jenny Mercein<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Jenny Mercein <\/strong>is an actor, teacher, director, and writer\ncurrently living in New Orleans, where she an Assistant Professor and Head of Performance\nat Tulane University. Most recently, Jenny produced REFRAMED 2020: A\nFestival of Short Plays on Social Justice<\/em> for which she wrote and directed The\nGratitude Assignment.<\/em> She is proud a producer of Roleplay<\/em>, a play\nand documentary film project exploring student perspectives on love, sex,\npower, and consent. Along with KJ Sanchez, Jenny is the co-creator of the\nacclaimed docudrama X’s and O’s<\/em>, about football and traumatic brain\ninjury (Berkeley Rep, Baltimore Center Stage). Acting credits include \u201cYour\nHonor,\u201d \u201cNCIS: New Orleans,\u201d “30 Rock,” “Blue Bloods,”\n“Unforgettable,” “Law & Order” and\nextensive theater credits spanning the country. Jenny received her\nB.A. in Theater Studies and the History of Art from Yale and her M.F.A. in\nActing from The University of Washington.  For more information, visit www.jennymercein.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Helpers \u2014 Lindsey Augusta Mercer<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Lindsey Augusta Mercer <\/strong>(they\/she) is an interdisciplinary artist passionate about poetic, immersive work that challenges convention and uplifts underrepresented communities. After graduating from Baldwin Wallace University in 2013, Lindsey moved to Cincinnati, OH where they co-founded The Queen City Queer Theatre Collective, a group of makers who aim to champion untold stories in innovative ways. In 2016 Lindsey shifted the directive of the company to foster new work development, and facilitated premieres and workshops for a number of emerging artists. QCQTC produced readings once a month free to the public.\u00a0Currently living in Manhattan with her wife and rescue pup, Lindsey works as a free-lance director, actor, musician, and filmmaker. Their work is known for a balance of quirky humor and musicality that strive to nurture a connection between page, artist, and audience. By day she produces, shoots, and edits all of the video content for Signature Theatre Company Off-Broadway. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Describe the Night \u2014 Stephen Stocking<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Stephen Stocking<\/strong> is an actor, teacher, and director based in New York. He has collaborated with playwright Rajiv Joseph on five productions, beginning with the first workshop and production of\u00a0Describe The Night\u00a0<\/em>at NYU\u2019s Graduate Acting program. Stephen originated the role of Gavrilo Princip in Rajiv\u2019s play\u00a0Archduke<\/em>\u00a0at the Mark Taper Forum in LA and TheatreWorks Silicon Valley, and he played Feliks in the world premier of\u00a0Describe The Night<\/em>\u00a0at the Alley Theatre in Houston and at the Atlantic Theatre in New York City, where the play won the Obie for Best New American Play. Other regional theatre credits include the Shakespeare Theatre of DC, Portland Center Stage, and Dorset Theatre Festival. Internationally, he has performed with the Shakespeare Theatre of DC in Macau, China and with Gung Ho Productions and Liangshan Media Group in Chengdu and Beijing, China.\u00a0\u00a0Stephen\u2019s TV credits include\u00a0The Good Fight\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0Z: The Beginning of Everything<\/em>. Stephen is a teaching artist, director, and composer at the 52nd Street Project in New York.
