Podcast streaming is on the rise. Nearly everyone consumes news, entertainment, professional growth, and life hacks from podcasts. In 2025, 55% of the U.S. population, ages 12+, listens to a podcast at least once a month. Ten years ago, 17% of the population listened to podcasts at least once a month. <\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Miami University students, faculty, and staff have recently produced some great podcast content. We\u2019d like to introduce you to some of these insightful conversations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Summer is a great time to explore new podcasts. Listen on a road trip, at the gym, by the pool, or while cleaning your space. We chose these episodes with online students in mind, but don\u2019t sleep on the many different topics and interviews for current and prospective students, faculty, and people curious about higher education’s positive impact on the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Major Insight<\/em><\/a> is an award-winning podcast for students<\/a>. It features real student stories about choosing their major, navigating college and relationships, and overcoming challenges. Students and alumni openly share about the ups and downs of their journey. Prospective and current students will find nuggets of inspiration and a few laughs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Facing Your Deepest College Fears<\/a><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Committing to college is a significant life change. Feeling anxiety and uncertainty about academics, finding your people, and staying motivated is natural. Several students share their fears and experiences with first-year jitters, meeting people, pressure to succeed, and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
