The money that students earn by working this conference can be paid to an organization for a fundraiser. All positions will receive $10 per hour worked. Student jobs include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Van Drivers<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Shuttle conference participants to and from their hotels in the surrounding Oxford area.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Session Chairs<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Introduce conference presenter(s) for assigned session.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Remind participants to complete evaluation forms at the beginning and end of the session.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Keep time for presenter(s) and signal the stopping point at the end of the session.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Meal Ticket Takers<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The meals are at the Armstrong Student Center. 1 person will stand at the door collecting tickets.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Floater<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Check attendees into conference, provide them with nametags, meal tickets, etc.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provide directions and instructions during the conference.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assist with other tasks as needed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Student Registration Timeline<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>November 10: Initial schedules sent out<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>November 15: Final schedules are sent out<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>November 17: Deadline for canceling\/changing shifts<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>November 18: Registration closes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\">Click below to register to work the 2025 Lilly Conference on College Teaching as a&nbsp;student&nbsp;worker&nbsp;for your&nbsp;student&nbsp;organization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-content-justification-center is-layout-flex wp-container-core-buttons-is-layout-fe48e5de wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button is-style-fill\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link has-background wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/miamioh.qualtrics.com\/jfe\/form\/SV_0C9pjuq2aE5egZw\" style=\"background-color:#a44200\">Register now<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Miami students are paid to work shifts throughout the week to make the conference run more smoothly.
