Webex will automatically turn off someone’s web cam during a meeting if their internet speed becomes too slow to to support it. This keeps them from getting dropped from the meeting and prevents audio from breaking up.
If this happens to you, you’ll see a small warning displayed at the top-left side of the Webex Meetings window to let you know your web cam has been turned off. However, you won’t be notified of this for participants in your meetings. You can open the Participants pane if you want to make sure a student is still in your meeting, or you can switch to grid view to see a gallery of your meeting participants.
