LAMBDA is a free, in-person<\/strong> workshop developed at Miami University (Ohio). Our aim is to guide students of different academic levels in learning how to perform data analysis relevant for the biological sciences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The different courses will cover introductions on statistical analysis, genetic analysis, or spatial analysis. This will be through the R and Python programming languages (NO PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED!<\/strong>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Senior High School, Undergraduates, Graduate Students, Faculty and Staff are all invited to participate!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My expectations were met. I feel like I understand the building blocks of R and understand how to ask questions to get help with R.<\/p><\/blockquote><\/figure>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

I think the biggest thing for me personally is it made coding\/digital modeling not scary whereas before I thought it was way more complicated, but now I have a starting ground and it’s not actually that bad.<\/p><\/blockquote><\/figure>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
