Sammi Meyers is an artist from Illinois. She has always been surrounded by art but became more involved in high school where she took all different types of art classes. This allowed her to discover that she likes to work in a variety of mediums including painting, drawing and digital art. She enjoys using uncommon materials as surfaces for her art because of how it can alter the impact of a piece. The theme of nature is often relevant in her work since she has always been someone who likes to go on adventures and be outside.
