Macey Chamberlin is a senior Communication Design major with a minor in Fashion. Since September 2021, Macey has been working at the Miami University Art Museum as Graphic Design Student Specialist, and helped to create visual materials for the Fall 2023 Exhibits! She also is involved with design on campus as a Layout Designer for UP Magazine, Design Editor for The Miami Student Newspaper, and Art Director for The Miami Student Magazine.
Captured on a hike in Valley of Fire National Park in Nevada, this photo was taken in awe of the scale of the rock formations we walked on in comparison to ourselves. “For myself, this was a moment of true appreciation for the land and its greatness. I hope that this image inspires consideration of the human relationship to the land we inhabit and how minuscule we truly are in comparison.”
