Academic Term of Essay Subject: Fall 2019

I was delighted to receive the offer from Miami University in the summer of July this year because this is my dream university. Although I thought I would go to the University of Miami in Florida at first, I was very excited to get this offer from Miami University.

In mid-August, I came to Hamilton, Ohio, to attend the university’s orientation. When I first came to this city, I felt that this place was like a small country in the United States. It was not as prosperous as I expected. This is because my high school period was completed in New York City. We all know that New York City is the most prosperous modern city in the United States. I was a little depressed when I first came here, and I couldn’t make new friends and stay in my room every day without going out. Things got better after a week. I slowly got acquainted with my roommates, and we will go out to eat together and play together. At this time, I feel that I have begun to become familiar with and adapt to life here slowly.

After another week, we started school. After that, I made friends with more friends. After I became familiar with the school and Hamilton, I also liked it. I went back to New York City in the previous holiday. I felt very noisy when I got out of the airport. There were sounds of car whistling and people flowing around. I knew this moment, I am used to living in Hamilton.

It’s immaculate on the campus of the Miami University, Hamilton, thanks to the school’s management system, such as smoking and not throwing garbage in the school. Every day in the school, cleaning staff is cleaning, and the campus is spotless. With such a great learning environment, every student at the following looks very energetic. Not only that, but the school also has a lot of activities for you to participate in, like basketball clubs, writing clubs and e-sports clubs, and many. Other kinds of prosperous communities for you to join. In this case, you can do your things in your free time after you study.

Of course, the happiest thing is to go to Miami University in Oxford with my roommates on weekends. Let’s go to eat Chinese food and play mahjong. This is also the most relaxing time after a week of intense study and life. I am more and more fond of life here, and I have anxiety when I first arrived here. I now have a social circle that belongs to me.
