If you need to remove a Cascade webpage because it is outdated or its content has been moved, please do not delete it<\/strong>! Instead, follow our archiving process<\/strong><\/a> to keep records intact and prevent broken links.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Only users with live publishing rights can complete this process. If you only have access to test, you must work with a live publisher or contact <\/em>webadmin@MiamiOH.edu<\/em><\/a> for assistance. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Key Steps for Archiving Pages:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Check for Relationships \u2013 Ensure no other pages are linking to the one you\u2019re archiving.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Unpublish the Page \u2013 Use the “Unpublish” option in the CMS.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Move the Page to the “_archives” Folder \u2013 This helps organize outdated pages without deleting them.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Update Related Pages \u2013 Remove or update any links pointing to the archived page.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Request a Redirect \u2013 Submit a redirect request<\/a> to ensure users are sent to the correct new page.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
