{"id":1,"date":"2019-01-08T17:30:57","date_gmt":"2019-01-08T17:30:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/sites.miamioh.edu\/ifsam\/?p=1"},"modified":"2019-01-14T13:30:50","modified_gmt":"2019-01-14T18:30:50","slug":"welcome","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sites.miamioh.edu\/ifsam\/2019\/01\/welcome\/","title":{"rendered":"Welcome to IFSAM"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Established in 2018, the\u00a0International Faculty and Staff Association at Miami University (IFSAM) focuses on the following goals to support international faculty\/staff* at Miami University:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Connect with colleagues from diverse cultural, ethnic, racial, linguistic, and educational backgrounds<\/li>\n<li>Broaden perspectives, welcome diversity, and experience inclusion at Miami<\/li>\n<li>Listen, understand, and identify the needs of international faculty\/staff; address the concerns and needs to the university; provide relevant resources as needed<\/li>\n<li>Help international faculty\/staff* (both members and non-members) succeed in their careers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>*International faculty\/staff are identified as any part-time or full-time employees at Miami, who are from foreign countries.
