The 13th annual Young Researchers Conference (YRC) brought a group of scholars to Miami’s campus from February 27 to March 1, 2014. \u00a0This year’s conference also partnered with SOYUZ, the post-communist cultural studies interest group of the American Anthropological Association. \u00a0The theme of this year’s YRC was “the topos of justice” and the papers\u00a0explored experiments in law and regulations, narratives and theories of justice, translations and material objectifications of justice, and ethic and affective circulations of justice and morality in its local and global forms. \u00a0It kicked off with a keynote lecture by Dr. Robert Hayden, Professor of Anthropology at the University of Pittsburgh. \u00a0You can download Dr. Hayden’s lecture as a podcast here:<\/p>\n
