NSTA<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>http:\/\/www.nsta.org\/publications\/freebies.aspx<\/p>\n<p>As science teachers, we should all be signed up for NSTA.\u00a0 It&#8217;s a great organization that gives out tons of resources to teachers for very little cost!\u00a0 For a yearly cost, teachers are given tons of resources including a subscription to one of their journals (which have tons of information and various labs in them!) and tons of other books\/resources that they provide.\u00a0 The site listed above is just some of the resources that it provides as publications that are free to even non-members.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2. Bonus! PlayPosIt<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px\">https:\/\/www.playposit.com\/<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px\">PlayPosit is great.\u00a0 It lets teachers add in questions, statements, etc. in Youtube videos to keep students engaged and thinking about what is going on.\u00a0 This is a great way to start a lesson because you can use the PlayPosit stops to get students asking questions then having discussions.<\/p>\n<p><strong>5. Demos!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>There are tons of places to find demonstrations for your students.\u00a0 Googling for science demos usually turns out with some fruitful options, plus there are tons in NSTA books and other publications everywhere.\u00a0 Science teachers are constantly thinking of new and interesting demos to get students engaged and enjoying a lesson.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Dry Ice Crystal Ball - Giant Dry Ice Bubble\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/FFnuqLryxlk?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>This is just a simple demonstration that is super cheap.\u00a0 Dry ice is the most expensive thing, as the rest will be on hand at your home or in your classroom; and dry ice is cheap as well!<\/p>\n<p><strong>6.
