The cooperative learning method\u00a0can be a great method to use in the classroom since it allows the teacher to step back and let the teams of students learn, teach, and collaborate together as they move towards a common learning goal\/objective.<\/p>\n<h2>What is Cooperative Learning?<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Small, specifically designed teams of learners<\/li>\n<li>A group interdependence through the distribution of roles in the learning process<\/li>\n<li>A way to make each member a stronger individual-socially and intellectually<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-288 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/sites.miamioh.edu\/edt431-531\/files\/2017\/10\/lopp-300x200.png?resize=300%2C200\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/sites.miamioh.edu\/exemplary-science-teaching\/files\/2017\/10\/lopp.png?resize=300%2C200&amp;ssl=1 300w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/sites.miamioh.edu\/exemplary-science-teaching\/files\/2017\/10\/lopp.png?w=720&amp;ssl=1 720w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>What are the benefits?<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Increases motivation and learning<\/li>\n<li>Allows students with different levels of ability to work together and teach each other<\/li>\n<li>More successful in fostering self-esteem and positive attitudes<\/li>\n<li>Encourages higher level thinking skills<\/li>\n<li>Enhances social skills and cognitive development<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: right\">*REMINDER* These teams are designed based on a variability in the students&#8217;
