Interested?<\/p>\n<p>An article titled &#8220;Rethinking the Role of the Science Teacher&#8221; in\u00a0<em>The Science Teacher<\/em> journal states: &#8220;&#8230;teachers are in the best position to put assessment data to the most powerful use.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s an example of a teacher implementing <strong>GAMES<\/strong> into her classroom as an assessment strategy!<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Using Games for Classroom Assessment\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/B-BBsPl9GSo?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; isn&#39;t in the definition of the word &quot;assessment.&quot; Then why do students automatically expect a test when we say there&#39;s an assessment coming up?
