Now that you’ve had a few weeks without students, are you starting to look for things to do? Join many of your colleagues in Regional E-Learning’s E1: Online Faculty Training Course and get certified to teach online. Summer is a great time to take your time working through the course.
The Online Faculty Training Course is designed for faculty members who are new to online learning and will equip you with the necessary information and skills to successfully facilitate online courses at the Miami Regional Campuses. You will have an opportunity to explore e-learning best practices, master the Canvas interface of an online course, explore strategies for interacting with your students and course delivery strategies to successfully complete the required online training for online instruction at the Miami Regional campuses. The training is self-paced and usually takes between 12-16 hours to complete. You are welcome to complete it on your schedule. Some faculty complete it over the course of a few weeks, while others choose to complete it over a few days.
