In conjunction, Karla Guinigundo would like to remind you of several ways that Fulbright programs can enhance the international dimension of what we do:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px\"><a href=\"http:\/\/miamioh.edu\/global-initiatives\/about\/international-education-week\/index.html\">International Education Week 2017<\/a> is right around the corner \u2013 November 13-17. This is a great time to think about your departmental and divisional goals for internationalization and consider how the Fulbright Scholar Program can help you achieve those goals.<\/p>\n<ul style=\"padding-left: 30px\">\n<li>Internationalize your departments and build partnerships by bringing in a guest speaker through the <a href=\"https:\/\/t.e2ma.net\/click\/feqwzg\/z5sozq\/jtkhty\">Fulbright Outreach Lecturing Fund<\/a>, hosting a <a href=\"https:\/\/t.e2ma.net\/click\/feqwzg\/z5sozq\/zllhty\">Fulbright Scholar-in-Residence<\/a> for a semester or academic year, or being a part of the <a href=\"https:\/\/t.e2ma.net\/click\/feqwzg\/z5sozq\/femhty\">Fulbright Junior Faculty Development Programs<\/a> for Lebanon, Egypt or Iraq.<\/li>\n<li>[Faculty can] gain or enhance their international expertise through Fulbright programs for U.S. Scholars such as the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cies.org\/program\/fulbright-distinguished-chair-awards\">Fulbright Distinguished Chair Award<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/t.e2ma.net\/click\/feqwzg\/z5sozq\/bznhty\">Fulbright Global Scholar Award<\/a>, or short opportunities to teach or consult through the <a href=\"https:\/\/t.e2ma.net\/click\/feqwzg\/z5sozq\/rrohty\">Fulbright Specialist Program<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px\">Global Initiatives will host a <strong>breakfast on Monday, November 13, 2017<\/strong> at 8am in Armstrong Student Center 1082 to share information on these and other opportunities with the Fulbright Scholar Program.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Next week (Nov. 13-17) is International Education Week.
