Accounting Advisory Group member Robert Woolman<\/a> ’03 and accountancy alum Kevin Grove<\/a> ’05 were among those attending the New York Stock Exchange closing bell ceremony celebrating The ScottsMiracle-Gro Company’s (NYSE: SMG) 30 years as a publicly traded company. Woolman is the vice president and chief internal auditor of the company, where he has worked for almost 15 years. Grove serves as vice president and controller, and has been with the company for nearly 11 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In an email, Woolman shared, “It was an honor to participate in the closing bell ceremony at NYSE to help recognize The ScottsMiracle-Gro Company for 30 years as a publicly traded company. While publicly traded on NYSE for 30 years, SMG’s roots actually trace back to over 150 years ago, when OM Scott began selling grass seed at his hardware store in Marysville, OH. This experience put into perspective that history and the countless current and former associates that have helped make SMG the market leader that it is today.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
