Blake Mesenburg<\/a> ’26 and his teammate Liam Jergenson are finalists for Team Impact’s 2026 Teammate of the Year award<\/a>. Blake is an accountancy and finance major at the Farmer School of Business. He is a three-time NCHC Distinguished Scholar-Athlete and served as assistant captain of the hockey team during Miami’s 2024\u201325 season. Liam is a Liberty Township resident living with KIF1A, a rare neurodegenerative disease, and he is an honorary member of The Brotherhood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Team Impact is an organization that pairs children living with a serious illness or disability with a college athletic team and local campus community, aiming to provide a safe, supportive, and encouraging environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
