The Accountancy Advisory Group<\/a> (AAG) held its Spring Meeting on April 10 and 11, welcoming new members Daniel Perschke<\/a>, Senior Vice President & Controller at The E.W. Scripps Company, and Laura Hay<\/a>, President and CEO of The Ohio Society of CPAs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The group discussed the current developments in higher education, including the recent letter<\/a> from the U.S. Department of Education and the enactment of Ohio Senate Bill 1<\/a>, as well as Miami University’s response<\/a>. On the local side, the AAG were given updates on the recent Miami University\u2013Faculty Alliance of Miami agreement<\/a> and the Board of Trustee’s approval<\/a> of developing the Cook Field site as an event and arena district. The Accountancy Department also shared the good news of our increasing enrollments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
