Natalie Schubert ’90 was recently named CEO of Daida, LLC, a business technology company specializing in data and information management systems. Prior to this appointment, Schubert worked for Ricoh USA in various leadership roles, guiding teams through large-scale changes involving restructuring, reshaping, and launching new technology solutions (see Daida’s press release).

Schubert graduated from Miami University with a degree in accounting and information systems and took a corporate role in the finance and accounting department of a Fortune 500 company. Seeking a greater challenge, she formed her own business, Financial Intelligence Network, which provided consulting services to mid-sized private companies and investment groups on merger and acquisition strategies. “Over the next nine years, I faced the exhilarating challenges of entrepreneurship but eventually decided to sell my business due to the sacrifices it demanded on my work-life balance,” she shared.

The CEO role at Daida merges Schubert’s passion for leadership, finance, and sales. “As the CEO of Daida, I am currently leading our investment and acquisition strategy, focusing on product and project innovation, and leveraging data, AI, and future information strategies. Additionally, I am deeply passionate about mentorship and giving back to early-career business professionals.”

Schubert currently resides in Central New Jersey, having relocated in 2007. “This beautiful rural area provides easy access to major cities like New York City and Philadelphia, along with the ocean.” Married with three daughters and three grandchildren, she and her husband have enjoyed international travel, exploring destinations like Bali, Bora Bora, Cambodia, Hong Kong, Singapore, Vietnam, Myanmar, Morocco, and various parts of Europe.

Despite the distance, Schubert shared that she still has many ties to Miami. Many of her high school friends attended Miami and have maintained connections, along with numerous family members, coworkers, customers, and friends throughout the years that have been part of the Miami network. She added, “I am grateful for the foundation Miami University provided, shaping my approach to business challenges and contributing to the successes and milestones in my career. It’s an honor to share my story with the Miami University community.”
