The PwC Challenge Case Competition was held on November 16, 2022, at the Farmer School of Business. The case asked students to analyze the challenges faced by a fast-growing workout equipment company post-Covid and make business recommendations.
Students formed teams with their peers from various majors in FSB to solve real-world problems that companies face in the rapid-changing business environment; advance their critical thinking, presentation, and teamwork skills; build their resume to better position them for future job opportunities; network with business professionals as well as accountancy professors; and receive professional feedback from PwC’s partner and managers.
The winning team members (shown in the photo above with PwC Partner and AAG Member Bob Guido on the left, and PwC Talent Acquisition Manager Nicole Collins on the right) are Ian Fisher, Isai Hernandez, Jon VanSkiver, Casey Warren, and Mary Grace Rinehart The case competition was coordinated by Nicole Collins and Accountancy Professor Qing Burke, with the participation of team mentors from PwC and financial accounting faculty from Miami.
