Blake Mesenburg ’26 and his teammate Liam Jergenson are finalists for Team Impact’s 2026 Teammate of the Year award. Blake is an accountancy and finance major at the Farmer School of Business. He is a three-time NCHC Distinguished Scholar-Athlete and served as assistant captain of the hockey team during Miami’s 2024–25 season. Liam is a Liberty Township resident living with KIF1A, a rare neurodegenerative disease, and he is an honorary member of The Brotherhood.
Team Impact is an organization that pairs children living with a serious illness or disability with a college athletic team and local campus community, aiming to provide a safe, supportive, and encouraging environment.
