Accountancy Professor Michele Frank provided some crucial tax tips for the 2026 filing season, explaining the nuances of the new deductions for tips and overtime pay, in a recent Newsweek article. Taxpayers beware: these new rules “are subject to a number of exceptions and do not completely eliminate taxes on tips and overtime pay,” said Frank.
