Accountancy major Elle Scott has been awarded the Financial Executives International (FEI) scholarship. Ms. Scott was nominated by the accountancy faculty, and nominations were reviewed by the FEI scholarship committee, led by Mr. Brian Tibbs, CFO of Monti, Inc., and 2021 Cincinnati CFO of the Year. Nominees are chosen for their “enthusiasm, hard work, and expertise in finance and related business topics,” as well as demonstrating great social skills, a great attitude at school, and “embodying the highest ethical and moral standards.” An awards ceremony was held April 24 at Xavier University, attended by FEI members, including Accountancy Advisory Group members Chris Linck and Kyle Bickhart, as well as Professor Anne Farrell.
Ms. Scott has been recognized on the President’s List at Miami. She is a member of several student organizations on campus, including Beta Alpha Psi and the Accounting Association. She enjoys playing soccer and was part of Miami’s women’s soccer team. She attended Deloitte’s National Leadership Conference in the summer of 2022, and will be interning with Deloitte’s audit practice in Chicago this summer.
