BriAuna Keys ’20 Discusses AI Benefits and Risks with Accountancy Students

BriAuna Keys '20 presents the use and risks of ChatGPT

Students in ACC 495 (Accounting Analysis) welcomed MAcc graduate BriAuna Keys ’20, a Digital Assurance & Transparency senior associate at PwC, along with PwC campus liaison Christine Frederick, who presented the benefits and risks of using generative AI tools (such as ChatGPT) for accounting tasks. They also introduced five challenging cases for students to collaborate and find solutions while leveraging ChatGPT. Gregory Maggard, Digital Assurance & Transparency director at PwC, also added to the presentation via Zoom.

On November 8, Keys and Frederick will return to hear student groups’ presentations of their solutions to the cases.
