Miami’s team submitted their final project on November 19 to the Deloitte Audit Innovation Case Competition. The challenge this year centers on ESG and how audit and assurance can prepare companies for the move towards regulated ESG disclosures, by bridging knowledge gaps and leveraging technology. Winners in this regional round go on to compete at the national competition in Spring of 2023 at Deloitte University in Texas.
Team members include Accountancy junior Bridget Schaber, Accountancy sophomores Sophie Metzner and Ben (Byeongyeon) Lim, and Finance sophomore Katie Hoefe. The team’s faculty advisor is Professor Jon Pyzoha.
