During the summer of 2022, Matt Wieland participated in the Miami University/Yonsei University faculty exchange program. He taught a 3-week course (Business Valuation and Decisions) at Yonsei’s Mirae Campus in Wonju, South Korea. The Mirae campus is nestled in the middle of the country and is surrounded by beautiful mountains. Yonsei provided a 3-bedroom flat for his wife and two daughters to also visit. The Yonsei faculty were excellent hosts, taking them to many lunches and dinners and helping them arrange adventures while they were there.
I feel blessed that Miami provided this opportunity to teach, live in, and experience another culture.
