Our lab participates in a variety of community outreach events.<\/p>\n

Brain Awareness Week<\/span><\/strong><\/span>: This week is dedicated to raising community awareness of neuroscience and neuroscience related diseases and conditions. Every year, members of our lab work with the Nu Rho Psi<\/a> (a national honor society with a local chapter at Miami University) to organize\u00a0and participate in the event.<\/p>\n

Talawanda Science Week<\/span><\/strong><\/span>: We have the privilege of \u00a0helping host grade school kids from the community as we explain some of the basics of neuroscience and perform various demonstrations that involve the kids and get them excited about how our bodies work and function.<\/p>\n
