Mathes hopes to, \u201c\u2026address the<br>\nfeelings of frustration and anger generated by gender power<br>\nstruggles as well as the violation, insecurity, and fear caused by<br>\ndisrespectful interactions,\u201d by reimagining an accessory that<br>\nhas its roots in catering to the male gaze.
