Her series employs<br>\narchetypal figures such as the artist, a chieftain, and an<br>\nEgyptian goddess, to explore stereotypes, identity and social<br>\nstatus. Here, she references her past experience of studying<br>\nmeditation, Pranayama breathing techniques, and the<br>\nBhagavad-Gita. Though Flack does not identify solely as a<br>\nfeminist artist, she expressed the necessity for female vision in<br>\nthe history of art after being ruthlessly critiqued for her<br>\nfeminist-perceived painting, Jolie Madame.
