Produced after seeing this<br>\nimage in a dream, Schneemann\u2019s drawing was the<br>\nfirst step in planning and developing Interior Scroll.<br>\n\u201cThis image seemed to have to do with the power<br>\nand possession of naming\u2014the movement from<br>\ninterior thought to external signification,\u201d she<br>\nwrote. On the verso, the typewritten text decries<br>\nsexism in mainstream films.
