Since 1968, Americans have celebrated National Hispanic Heritage Month. This 30-day period
runs from September 15 \u2013 October 15, and recognizes the contributions of Americans with
Spanish, Mexican, Caribbean, Central and South American ancestry.

In celebration of this important heritage month, Miami University Art Museum presents here a
handful of Hispanic\/Latinx artists who are represented in its permanent collection.
