Winter vacation can seem like it lasts forever, and when it\u2019s cold outside, everyone gets a little gloomy. What better way to \u201ctake a break from break\u201d than visiting <strong>Chocolate Meltdown<\/strong>, a biennial event co-sponsored by the Miami University Art Museum and the Oxford Community Arts Center. On Saturday, January 18, come visit the OCAC for this delicious event, there\u2019s something for everyone!<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2028This event features vendors (including Graeter\u2019s Ice Cream!) with chocolate delicacies for tasting, an amateur baking contest, children\u2019s activities, silent sweets auction, educational materials about chocolate and an art exhibit. When you purchase your ticket, you receive 5 tasting coupons for you to use. Fun for all ages, and children 12 &amp; under are admitted free!<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Do you have a passion for baking? Enter in the bake-off contest \u201cMelt Your Heart\u201d for a chance to win prizes! First and second place will receive $75 &amp; $50, so even if you don\u2019t consider yourself to be a professional, why not take a chance? Works do not have to be made out of chocolate, so let your creativity shine and show how chocolate inspires you! To submit a work of art or register for the bake-off, fill out an entry form at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.chocolatemeltdown.com\/\">www.chocolatemeltdown.com<\/a>, the NEW deadline to enter is January 1.\u00a0<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased on our <a href=\"http:\/\/www.chocolatemeltdown.com\/\">website<\/a> for $8.34 (including service fee) or for $7 pre-sale at the museum and arts center.
