Our fifth Student Response Exhibition, Outside the Box<\/i>, is open, and you can come check out the unique creations of 34 students (and vote for your favorite)!<\/p>\n

This is our next post in a series featuring the student artists who have created one or more pieces displayed in Outside the Box<\/i>.<\/p>\n

Meet our featured artist, Sophie Wolber<\/b>!<\/p>\n

Sophie<\/b> is a Senior Photography & Printmaking Major with a minor in Arts Management, from Wyoming, OH!<\/p>\n

She came to Miami because it was close to home, and at Miami, Sophie<\/b> is a member of Zeta Tau Alpha. She enjoys hanging out with friends and making art; and her favorite period of art is contemporary. Her dream job is to work at an art museum.<\/p>\n

The Student Response Exhibition asked students to think beyond physical limits with the concept of a box. Sophie<\/b> has two pieces displayed in this exhibition! For her featured piece, titled Untitled #1<\/i>, she states,<\/p>\n

“When I think of \u201cOutside the Box\u201d I think of barriers because everything that we have done growing up has guidelines.”<\/i><\/p>\n

Come see the exhibition and vote for your top three favorites! Voting will continue until April 6 and the exhibition celebration and awards ceremony<\/a> will be held on April 9, from 7-9 p.m.<\/p>\n
