A great part of the Student Response Exhibition is audience voting. Visitors vote for their top three student artworks in the gallery and winners are announced at a celebratory event in April. The top three student artists receive a monetary prize from the Art Museum and recognition in the gallery!
Due to precautions against COVID-19, the galleries are closed indefinitely and the SRE celebratory event, originally scheduled for Apr.14, is cancelled.
However, the Art Museum wants to continue to recognize the amazing student artists featured in Circling ‘Round, so we have moved audience voting online!
The process to vote is as follows:
1. Browse through the SRE online catalog here to learn about all of the pieces in the exhibition
2. Pick your top three artworks from the exhibition
3. Vote for your favorite artworks here
4. Share the voting link with your friends and family!
Voting closes May 1 and winners will be announced soon thereafter.
The Art Museum is also happy to announce that Circling ‘Round is officially online! Check out the exhibition website here!
