Donuts and Dalí

My name is Leah, and I’m one of the student interns at the Art Museum this semester! As part of my role as a marketing intern, I am taking the lead on across-campus pop-up marketing initiatives. The main way you’ll be seeing the Art Museum around campus this semester is through our Donuts & Dalí events!

Every Friday morning all semester long, I will be popping up somewhere on campus to hand out free donut holes and talk about upcoming events at the Art Museum. So far, I’ve spent a Friday morning in Irvin Hall, Upham Hall, and most recently I was found at the Seal! Please check out the graphic below to see my upcoming locations. If you come see me, you’ll get a free donut hole!

Donuts & Dalí was first created by one of the interns last year as a way to connect the mission of the art museum with a fun way to engage students on campus. In addition to information on our upcoming events, at my table each week you can find some fun facts about Salvador Dalí and his work. While we don’t have any of Dalí’s pieces currently on display in our galleries, we do have 10 of his pieces housed in our collection of almost 17,000 pieces.

I’d love to see YOU at my next Donuts & Dalí event – come to all of them if you can! See you there!
